GETTING THE MOST FROM YOUR VISIT:

​Upon arrival, please check with staff and update your personal information (phone number, telephone, email) if necessary.  

Patients who are on multiple medications should bring these with them or have an updated medication list.

PHONE APPOINTMENTS:

Please call our office for all appointment bookings. Our staff will be able to help you book either in-person visits or Telehealth appointments. We are booking in-office appointments for all issues requiring examinations.

 

PRESCRIPTIONS: 

We provide prescription refills during an in-person appointment. We will also be able to provide refills through telehealth.  We ask that you make refill appointments or requests well in advance, one to two weeks ahead of running out.

 

TEST RESULTS:

Test results will be communicated to you whenever they are abnormal, either by phone or in person. Owing to the large volume of reports received daily, it is not possible to contact you for normal or negative results. However if you are concerned about a specific test, please call the office. You may also sign up to review your lab results online through myCompass.

REFERRALS:

For a specialist referral to be covered by MSP, your family doctor must first assess the condition for which a referral is being made. The Doctor will then send a letter with the appropriate reports, lab tests, etc. to the specialist.

URGENT APPOINTMENTS

Some problems arise quickly and need urgent attention. In such cases every effort will be made for the doctor to see you the same day if possible.

 

EMERGENCY:

If necessary, you may be directed to the hospital emergency Department.
